Breaking: Erik York Has Stage 3 Cancer; Get the GoFundMe Link

It’s always sad to share, but some devastating news has hit the gay porn community. Pete Finland, aka pornstar Erik York, has Stage 3 stomach cancer. A GoFundMe page to help assist with the financial burden is now live. Created by Durk Dehner, Cofounder of Tom of Finland Foundation, the page comes with a letter from him. In it, he states Pete has gone through his savings and personal funds and is reluctant to ask for help.

Now is the time for our community to step up and help Pete beat this medical emergency. Pete was diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer and is commencing thirteen weeks of five-day-a-week chemo/radiation therapy. The survival rate with treatment is 60-80%.”

Pete Finland as Erik York has been a staple in the gay porn industry since the mid 90’s. From my research, his first print spread with Playguy was shot in 1993.
