And the porn apocalypse continues. As if we haven’t had enough to deal with, the world woke up Thursday morning to the news that starting October 1st, “OnlyFans will prohibit the posting of any content containing sexually explicit conduct.” As released in a statement provided by the company, “Creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy.”
The confusing clause in OnlyFans’ statement is that nudity will be allowed as long as it is consistent with their Acceptable Use Policy. But what does that mean? It sounds like that by keeping it vague, the company could analyze each case individually, lacking consistency in their judgment. We already see this with social media platforms where accounts seem to be deactivated at random.
The banning of explicit conduct on OnlyFans follows patterns in explicit content with various sites including Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter, the latter two which definitely randomly review and analyze accounts. Ace of Muscle Service had his Twitter account suspended. After that, my MuscleCumLover Instagram account was deactivated by Facebook months later.
In recent months, users have had complaints about OnlyFans providing poor customer service, issues with payment, and what is considered fair to content creators.
Just 21 hours ago Pedro Alpha, social media muscleman and friend to Muscle Service stated:
Yup… @OnlyFans fucked me over, fucked over many other models, now they've fucked over new subscribers. I tried getting my subscribers to switch over to JFF for months. Now they'll have to. See my content at http://justfor.fans/pedroalpha4
Others like muscle adonis Vin Marco state:
This actually plays into my hands… nudity will still be allowed (whew) I won’t compete with sex driven OF accounts but sex driven OF accounts now will have to compete where I’m VERY well suited and exceedingly confident (my physique and big DICK)
But while there is uncertainty, there is also always hope! Here at Muscle Service, we're working on adding video uploading features in the near future. And while those of us at Muscle Service work on some things, JustFor.fans is still in operation. In less than 24 hours from hearing the OnlyFans news, JustFor.fans stated;
The adult industry is sadly used to companies cutting their teeth on the adult market and abandoning them once they reach critical mass. JustFor.fans was founded and bult by and for sex workers and its staff is 100% comprised of sex workers and people who have been in the porn industry for many, many years. We are a porn site. That will never change and we have no interest in “mainstreaming”. JustFor.fans is number two in traffic to OnlyFans, and we are well-poised to make sure adult content creators are not abandoned. We welcome them all to our website. We believe we have the most innovative platform out there, and are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our community. We welcome everyone to check us out.
OnlyFans looks to soon be over and done with, Pornhub has been cleared of all content, xTube is now gone, and every day we live in fear of our social media accounts closing arbitrarily. We need a savior in these times of porn uncertainty and I hope it comes soon!
