As always, we are happy to celebrate content creators that excite us sexually. Whether they be on-camera performers, muscle worshipping participants, flexing bodybuilders, or erotic artists, we appreciate and are happy to support unique content creators.
Today, I am featuring the creative artist behind the website Nosoxnosex. Now the title leads me to believe the man behind the site is into feet or socks, but what caught my attention are the gifs created by the owner. Each gif is a complete piece of art that I am hypnotized to watch over and over. Featuring men he finds online via Twitter and highlighting sexual themes including glory holes, fitness and old-fashioned masturbation, his gifs are just amazing. I hope Nosoxnosex continues to create gifs for us to enjoy. Some people have creative artistic talent and honestly I am happy I came across Nosoxnosex. Check out my Q&A with the man behind Nosoxnosex below!
Eddie: Tell us how you came to create your artwork? When did you first start? Was the goal to always create sexy art or something else? Where did the interest start to want to start creating homoerotic art?
Nosoxnosex: About four years ago I needed something to express myself as a designer. The pressure and constant deadlines of my daytime job made me feel like a machine.
I love making collages and I love porn. On Tumblr, I saw a lot of great animated porn gifs that stimulated me sexually and inspired me artistically so I sought to make something beautiful with this very explicit material.
I’m also fascinated by what is considered taboo: sex, porn, addiction, fetishes … For a lot of people, myself included, it’s not something you’re open about. But then again, so many are watching it.
Eddie: Who are some of your favorite bodybuilders, athletes, and/ or pornstars? Have any inspired any characters in your designs?
Nosoxnosex: I have many favorite pornstars, both professional and amateur performers, straight or gay. Really depends on the mood I'm in. To name a few: @ProudBator, @Sockdad7, @raydragonxxx, @chadwhitexxx, @whitesoxire,…but I rarely go looking for design inspiration among my favorites. Rather, I’ll see a performer doing something that gives me ideas for a new animation.
Eddie: What is your favorite picture you've created?
Nosoxnosex: Very tough to answer because I pour the same amount of love in every animation I make.
I chose the ‘Glory holes’ animation. I wanted to recreate my fantasy of experiencing a glory hole in a public toilet. A dark and dirty place, writings on the wall, glistening semen on the floor. The waiting, the longing, the sound of a zipper opening, the anticipation for an anonymous cock to come out and press against your face, the smell, … It really does look like a bright chaos of lust in a dark and seedy restroom.
Eddie: When did you start finding out you had fans following your artwork? Any messages from fans that have stood out to you?
Nosoxnosex: When I began on Tumblr, many people started following, quickly, and their reactions were unanimously positive. It’s far less easy to reach that same kind of audience on Twitter, where I feel it’s more about promotion then about the experience. But I certainly can't complain. I get a lot of supportive messages that motivate me to continue designing. A lot of people tell me they are turned on by my designs and I consider that the best compliment. When someone tells me they see how much love I put into it, that really moves me, because it’s true.
Eddie: We are all about supporting each other here in similar interests. Any other artists you love to follow?
Nosoxnosex: There are so many creative people I respect immensely: I've been following @Drubskin for a long time, because of the fetishes he uses in his work. @adultjunkdrawer, @0n34nt, @imrandymeeks, @fuhrerdoodles and @NickieCharles are artists whom I admire for their skill and for their eye for composition. Like Tom of Finland, they are able to create amazing illustrations that are exciting and have a sense of humor. I think sex and humor pair together beautifully.
Last but not least I want to mention John Waters. I discovered his films as a teenager and I admire how he just did his thing, enthusiastically, regardless of what people think of it. Perverse, shocking, whatever, have fun and just do it. I often think of that when designing.
Eddie: How often do you produce new content?
Nosoxnosex: Because of my day job, I only make roughly one animation each month. An animated collage takes a lot of time: first I collect or make gifs that combine to tell a story or fantasy. Next I cut out the elements I want to use frame by frame, for each gif. Finally, I puzzle all the pieces together until the composition feels right. Sometimes I think certain gifs will work together, but that’s not always the case and I have to go searching for something better to fit the composition. The first and last steps are fun, but cutting out the elements also gives me a relaxed kind of feeling.
Eddie: Where can people follow and reach you at (all social media links/websites)? Do you commission artwork and how much would that be?
Nosoxnosex: Everyone can view my work on Twitter and on my website: www.nosoxnosex.com. After the porn ban on Tumblr, I made my own site because I realized how dangerous it is to only share my work on social media.
At the moment I don’t do commissions and don't want to make money with my work, however tempting. Nowadays it has become too ingrained that you have to earn money with your hobby. I am lucky I can live off my daytime earnings.
I work with material that I see online, but the performers often make a living out of porn. I try to contact them, which is not always easy with the anonymous distribution of porn. I see my work as publicity for them. If I would capitalize on my work, this would complicate everything in terms of rights, which reminds me too much of my day job.
