If you have not heard yet, former gay pornstar Hank Hightower (born Henry Robert Hightower,) passed away recently. The news were shared on various sites, and on social media by close friend Jeff Yarbrough, and other pornstars who shared the screen with him including Erik York.
Hank Hightower was one of the last remaining men that could carry the term “pornstar” from the 90’s. While there are many actors in porn, Hightower was remembered past his acting career and embodied the masculine, hairy male that was prevalent in porn during the 90's. His porn resume shows he first made his debut in 1993 and worked all the way to 2003/4 with Catalina releases “Bear Trap” and “Bear Country”. Studios that featured his content also include All Worlds, Catalina, HIS, Vivid Man, Hollywood Sales, Big Blue Productions, West Hollywood Studios, and more.
Recently, we shared the news of another porn legend, legendary leather daddy Steve “TitPig” Hurley who also passed away this same year. Both TitPig and Hank Hightower shared the space of dominating the 90s with their hairy chest, masculine appeal, and overall horniess that easily came through the porn screen.
Born on October 12th, 1966, Hightower passed away shortly after celebrating his birthday. We are glad to report that he did pass away peacefully. RIP to another great legend.
