Today I am saddened to share the news that have been brought to my attention this morning by a follower on Twitter: William Futral aka Bill and owner of the gay porn studio TheGuySite.com was found murdered in his apartment earlier this month. We at Muscle Service interacted quite a bit with Bill and are devastated by the news.
First shared by Str8UpGayPorn, the site stated:
“Str8UpGayPorn is shocked and saddened to report that William Futral, the owner of gay porn studio TheGuySite.com, was found murdered in his Tampa, Florida apartment on May 1st. Futral was 52 years old, and his body was discovered by a maintenance man doing a wellness check after a TheGuySite model reported that Futral had not returned his calls for several days.”
At the moment, Str8upgayporn is sharing live updates as they exclusively run news on the story, but they most recently let readers know an arrest warrant has been issued for the site’s Model “Ludvig” (a.k.a. Richard Lam) leading everyone to suspect he is a person of interest in the case. Notable, their update does state “…police have not publicly named Lam as a suspect in Futral’s murder. But, a source with knowledge of the investigation has told Str8Up, ‘Oh yeah, [Lam’s] the one they’re looking for.’”
Apparently while Richard Lam already had issues with the law and violating probation, he and Bill also had a tumultuous relationship.
While I did speak with Bill on gathering content for the site, sharing content and images for us to use at Muscle Service, and even securing this exclusive interview with Davin Strong, I am not sure if he had any business partners or anyone who will continue creating content for the site.
I am sure I speak for Ace himself when I say Muscle Service strives to always be a positive, warm, and inviting place for our industry professionals, models, content creators, viewers, readers, fans, and all those who visit the site and interact with us so it is truly disappointing when we come across such devastating news. We commend Bill for not only being the creator and founder of The Guy Site which has provided great adult content since its inception, but was always someone who I enjoyed working with. He was truly a friend of the site and a fan of the mission statement behind Muscle Service.
